What you get

Three services, one account

Secure connection

Traffic between your device and the astral network is encrypted with a modern WireGuard-based protocol. It protects your data on public Wi‑Fi and gives you stable access to your own services.

  • Protection in cafés, hotels and airports
  • A separate profile for each device
  • Phone, tablet and computer

astral ID single sign-on

One account for every astral service. A second factor — an authenticator code or a passkey; a list of active sessions, each of which you can end.

  • Two-factor authentication
  • Passkeys instead of passwords
  • Active sessions visible in your account

Mail on your domain

Mailboxes on astralnet.io or, by arrangement, on your own domain. Connections to the server use TLS only, and outgoing mail is signed with DKIM.

  • IMAP and SMTP in any client
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place
  • Spam filtering, no ads

Status and reliability

Services are checked from outside every minute from two locations. The current state is public on the status page, and backups run every day.

  • Public status page
  • External checks from two places
  • Daily backups

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is astral?

A private network and a set of services: a secure connection for your devices, astral ID single sign-on and mail. Everything runs on our own servers, with no ads and no third-party analytics.

Who can join?

For now, by invitation: send a request with the form above. A subscription open to everyone will come later; join the waitlist to hear when it launches.

Is my data private?

The content of your traffic and the addresses of pages you open are not recorded. To run the service we keep traffic counters and the time and address of each connection; passwords are stored only as hashes. The privacy policy has the full, honest details.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux, through widely used connection apps. Mail works in any IMAP and SMTP client, astral ID in the browser.

How do I sign in?

At id.astralnet.io: your email and password, then a code from an authenticator app or a passkey. You can also sign in with a passkey alone, without a password.

How do I contact you?

Write to hello@astralnet.io. Questions about your data and its deletion go to privacy@astralnet.io.
